Padraic Delaney - Director Business Development Down Syndrome Ireland:

Padraic has worked with DSI for the past several years in a Business Development role with a focus on winning support and investment for the organisation. With a background in the multinational and semi-state sectors he concentrates on working with the Corporate Sector, Event Sponsors and assisting his clients in CSR matters. Having to "multitask" he adopts a focus in sales, marketing, PR and promotional activities in both developing and raising the organisation's profile, awareness for the community of persons with Down Syndrome in Ireland and overall fundraising goals. Objectively he needs to find the fine line between the requirement of DSI members, the economics and politics of the day and the competitive marketplace of an estimated 2 billion euro sector.
