Visit of the Dáil with JCI World President
ImageOn 10 October JCI World President Scott Greenlee (United States) and JCI Secretary General Edson A. Kodama (Japan) went to Dublin to celebrate JCI Ireland’s 50th Anniversary two days later in Cobh. For his first day in Dublin,  JCI Ireland President Karen Sweeney and JCI EVP Graham Hanlon gave them a warm welcome and organised a visit of the Dáil with members of the four JCI branches of the Dublin Region.

The visit started by meeting the Ceann Comhairle (Chairman of Dáil Éireann) John O'Donoghue T.D.  They had lunch in Oireachtas’s restaurant and visited the building including the Dáil and Seanad. Everyone enjoyed the tour of this impressive building and  the details on some highlights on Irish history given by the guide.

In the evening JCI President 2006 Lars Hajslund  (Denmark) and some other members joined the group for a dinner in Silks, Malahide.

This day was a wonderful opportunity for each member to meet WP Scott Greenlee and SG Edson Kodama and spend some time inside the Dáil.
